First Lady Yvonne Moss Johnson is the wife of Dr. Willie E. Johnson, Pastor of Holy Jerusalem COGIC. She is the third of six children. Her grandfather was a Baptist minister. She comes from a family of Pastors and Evangelists. She has two sons.
First Lady Johnson earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics, with two minors: one in Computer Science and the second in Air Traffic Control from Savannah State University. She also holds a Masterís Degree in Public Administration from Savannah State University. She attended the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Academy in Oklahoma City, OK. The First Lady worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Control Specialist. She has traveled and worked extensively throughout the United States and abroad. She retired after 30 years of service.
First Lady Johnson is a gifted writer
and has published several books. A major theme of her life has always been:
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own
understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths".
